Hey guys,

The Queen DogLeg Jack has really caught my eye. It looks like a large peanut. Can anyone tell me how they like theirs? The handle really looks very comfortable and the size seems to be just right. In addition, how are the Queen BE maple handles. I have never had a wood handled slippie before. Thanks

I have one in Brown Winterbottom Delrin.
It is the same frame as the Mini-Trapper
The main clip blade is the same size.
The secondary pen is instead of the spey

For a 3 1/2" knife the main clip blade is long, longer than a Stockman of the same size.
I really like the combo of a long sturdy main clip and a strong pen blade.

The Maple is a very interesting wood.
You can get it from grey to greenish in color and tight eye knots to a plain grain.
Luck of the draw...

Here is an example of Maple

Can't really answer about the Maple but I have one in cocobolo. I use it often and it has become one of my favorites. Like you said; kind oof like a large peanut. Only thing about mine is the pen blade's nick isn't very big or deep and if I don't have any fingernails--it's hard to open at times. Other than that..I really like it!

Cool, that sounds really nice. I just want it to edc and enjoy playing with it when I am bored. How is the f&f on it? Are there any thing about the knife that totally disagrees? Thanks

I have one in Cocobolo as well and it is one of my favorite production slip joints.
