Queen Drake Well Anniversary Model Barlow

I see these coming up for sale now and then. States that they have stainless blades but no real description of what kind of stainless. Can anyone chime in who can give a more detailed description?

I have the same question. sometimes I see it listed as carbon, sometimes as stainless. I just got a beautiful example of one, unused, and it seems like stainless to me, but time will tell.

Older Queens were 440c, newer are 420hc, those with a P on the tang are D2, some are ATS34 and it's marked on the blade...I think

Yes they are, I may or may not have a thing for the Drake Well Barlows. As far as what steel, they are not marked, later versions of the Queen Barlow are marked 440.

Whoa, Nice line up John! The bone handles are different on each example. That’s why you can’t have just one. I have two so far.
