When I think of so many things that say limited... and they are. I mean, something that is produced to a total of 2500 pieces in a world having billions of people, IS very limited.... But, with some of these knives made by firms like Gec and Queen.... numbers like 25, 50, 100, or even 500 total..... Wow, they are really just a few grains of sand on a beach!

I did not get in on the above knife offer, but it's obviously a limited production run knife and a good example of the rare numbers of some knives being made :-)

Chris Kirk, which had a show on Dish selling knives years back, would always use the sellers trick of speaking in the lowest numbers possible. For example, he would say, this congress is only $20 per blade instead of just saying the knife was $80. But one thing he used to say if a knife was limited to 500 was, "only ten people in each state can get one of these". So when you think of a 25pc run; only one person in every other state gets one - that is pretty limited.

My heart still races when I see an old Remington bullet, and they made A LOT of those. Can you imagine our grand kids when they stumble across a 1 of 50 GEC Pioneer? There are a lot of people that use these knives and many will not be taken care of; thus how many will survive 75 years?
