I’m trying to link for the first time on the new system... there’s an oldie thread here.

On another note who around here would be able to make new springs? Costly, probably but in my eyes such a great pattern that should be fixed.
Don't want this thread going off in the wrong direction but anyone know of any other brands that this has happened while in storage? Didn't think it was a good idea to start a new thread for this...
That was a Hiroaki Ohta custom. Hiro had me send it to him in Japan. He repaired it for free and shipped it back, total time 14 days. I've had the knife for a decade I think. Great service for sure!GaryPeregrin has had a couple of spring breaking issues with another maker, if I remember correctly.
i am pretty sure ive seen or heard of a gec spring's breaking. not remotely near the amount of Queen's incidents. So far on this forum, I haven't seen anything from canal street snapping in my years on this forum. However, my mileage is limited to mostly this forum. There are some folks who peruse others like AAPK.
