I placed a "Christmas" order for 5 knives tonight.

The one I am questioning is the Queen/Joe Pardue Canoe. It was an implulse addition to the list. I was torn between a GEC Ben Hogan, Cattle Baron (and a long long long list of others). I wanted to try a canoe pattern where the humps soften the tangs.

I wanted to try the D2 from queen as well.

Any feed back on the fit and finish of this particular collaboration? Worth the extra over the regular Queen Canoe? I also wanted the coping blade.

That is an very interesting and handsome version of a canoe, being a "whittler canoe", if I'm looking at the right model.
I like the coping blade.

No idea on the Pardue canoe collaboration. I am very happy with their Burke collaborations, their D2 is great, their edges and fit and finish have gotten better, and the canoe I have from them is a good knife. If you don't like it, I don't think you'll have any problems turning it into another knife in your pocket ;).

If it's this one, I need to pick one up.

that is the one!

I also ordered a Burke collab large Barlow (as well as a S&M file and wire large barlow, GEC Steel bolster and liner Sunfish, and a stag GEC steel bolster liner barlow as well. Should be a good "knife" Christmas!

I would have ordered a small Burke barlow collaboration as well, but that particular site was out. I may, if I like the large in D2 have to eventually order the small, Burke/Queen barlow (it got so many rave responses on here). I really like that the pen blade is a warncliff.

Soo............ after a few years with the Joe Pardue Canoe from queen, how are you liking the knife ?
Just ordered 1 because the whittler I was after was out off stock and it was holding the rest of the order back.
