I was reading in knives magazine about the new mountain man with green micarta handles. Its beautiful and I was wondering where one can be had at or if there not available yet.

Edit: Just checked the site and its been added to the home page today as it wasn't there last night....

I saw these too, but I haven't heard much information about them. I really wish they would get someone to do some more work on the website, the general lack of information and in my opinion sub par website design is detracting me from the "new" Queen Cutlery already.

Very nice! Like the looks of those! I've always liked micarta.
I agree about the website. They should really get someone to update it.

.................Not sure if factory image was deal spotting. My mistake.

I like the new look of the MM. :)

I know their primary concern has to be getting quality, well-fit knives out the door right now, but in today's business climate, they really do need someone to tend to their web site.

My sense from the beginning (meaning, from the changeover) is that it's a blind spot-- they think they're on top of it, and that enthusiasm and effort will make up for a lack of professional eye and oversight. That's just a guess, however.

Meantime, the new patterns look interesting. Hopefully, they snap shut. ;)

Schucks, probably hard to believe, but it's already much better than it used to be. Small consolation, I know.

BTW, to the OP, that is a slick knife. Hope the primary grind is thin, to make the most of that good steel and heat treat.

Yep, I saw the site before when it was really a wreck, I agree it is much better now, but still could use a bit of work.

I am 100% with you on the primary grind, I have sworn off purchasing any new Queen knives until I've had a chance to see the grind on the new ones, I just can't bring myself to really love a pocket knife that has a thick primary grind, I guess its a personal thing.

They sure look pretty in green micarta ...but with that sabre ground blade it will be a thick edge like their previous pieces......but don't expect a sharp edge I already purchased a Schatt & Morgan from a 17 pc. run of Congress knives they just did and the edge was toothy and abrasive..of the 18 cuts 70% simply teared the paper.

Assuming the F&F is good, I'd be a buyer. I might not go for the Mountain Man, but rather the Sodbuster first, ideally I'd like to have both though. While he never carried it I always remember my Granddad showing me his knife collection like he liked to do and always showing me his prized Mountain Man, among other things. It really impressed me at the time.
