Just wanting to show off my new EDC...

Carved Stag Bone Queen Mountain Man with D2. (the mirror polish gave me real pain trying to take pictures!)

The fob is around 10 year old leather cord with whitetail deer antler pieces, and the pouch is brown suede sewn with simulated deer sinew.

Looks great. Bet you'll enjoy carrying it a bunch. Nice fob. :)

Yeah..this knife has quickly shoved aside many others to become one of my favorites. The D2 is just awesome!

They are doing a great job heat treating their D2. OK it is not as good as Bob Dozier can do, but I think Queen has done more than an acceptable job.

Great pattern! I hope you enjoy using it for many years.

That's a beauty. Between that knife and your new custom Buck 110s, you're about set for life.

Yeah now if I could actually work up the nerve to USE the 110's!

If I may ask, where'd you find it?

Grand Prarie Knives in Troy Il. If you live within driving distance, this store is GREAT...has the best selection of knives I've seen in years. I drive an hour and a half to shop there every few months.

http://www.gpknives.com/

This is their webpage.

They are located just of I-55 north on the Troy exit #18..turn of, and go north alongside I-55 past a truckstop on a frontage road that's literally just a few feet from the interstate, go down it about 300 yards and there they are on the right.

Thanks for the info and link :)

I should have mentioned that I just happened to be in the store in the afternoon of the morning they just got in the Mountain man and the new teardrop in carved stag so they may not show up on the website yet.

and just for the record, I am a customer I have no financial interest in Grand Prarie Knives. I just like promoting them because they are an honest to god good old fashion knife store with a great inventory of top grade knives and stuff with very little "china made" crap.
