420HC, but it's a scout knife from Queen. I like it, not sure about the can opener blade. 440C would've been a better choice, but it looks good. I hope that Ryan Daniels has some of these at the Chesapeake knife show, I want to try one out before I buy it. Walk and talk should be good.

Looks pretty good, if it had a corkscrew, I'd probably pick one up - I love the scale material, and the bail. That's more or less the same steel that Victorinox uses in their SAK's - so not too shabby if the heat treat is right, certainly will take a good edge.

Buck uses it, with the Bos heat treat. Case uses it for their SS blades. Not a bad steel, what Schatt and Morgan brand has used for some time. Single blade slipjoints are my users, but a camp knife/scout always gives me whiplash! 1095 or 420 are fine, but I am a recovering steel snob.

Nice, but how does that can-opener work? Seems like it needs some sort of "hook" to get leverage . . . .

That looks pretty fine! Wow... I like the stag - and don´t worry about the can opener, that´s a tool I never use on my knives.

The steel 420HC could be a little better, but with a good HT 420HC is a great steel (see at Buck Knives).

I've used the can opener on my SAK Farmer. I could see it being very useful if needed. I think this old style that Queen is using is punched through the lid and worked around it...... it's a bit spooky looking to me.

I like the rest of the knife though. Seriously though, if someone would make traditional looking camp knife with the same implements as the Farmer and of similar function, I'd love to have one. As much as I like the old camp knives, the Farmer really is a step above.... that little saw is sweet.

Those old timey can openers aren't so bad. I have used them. I Love the look of this knife. Will probably pick one up for lack of a better option. Do want.
