I just received a Mini trapper sized slippy from a forumite who described it as a Queen. Its real sweet, fit and finish is excellent, great walk and talk, super bone scales, and has an acorn shield. The stamp on the clip blade is Queen City, but on the spey its stamped Cozy Glen classic knives OH. Is this a Queen? Is'nt Queen in PA? thanks guys

They do lots of runs of "special factory orders" and such. Knives are made by Queen but are a limited run on behalf of a dealer or other entity hence the different markings you will encounter.

Cozy Glen classic knives OH
i might be wrong but i think there is a collector in OH.
this might be his stamp
buzz

The blades on the Queen City Cozy Glen knives are 1095 carbon steel. Larry

Ken Daniels used to order special runs of knives in 1095 from Queen, and used the old Queen City/Queen City Classics stamping/labelling. The name of the street where he lives is Cozy Glen, hence the name.
He is currently one of the owners of Great Eastern Cutlery!

Thanks for all the info! The back ground I received from you guys just makes me appreciate this knife even more. aloha, Mike

As Charlie said, Ken owns that tang stamp. Ken was a long time employee of Queen until he quit to start his Co. As far as I know he only made 2 patterns with this stamp, the Trapper & a Canoe.

They are both thin blade, carbon steel, pocket friendly knives. I wish Ken's new Co. was building this kind of knife.

Yes mine is the Trapper version...can't wait for the patina to form, it looks great like that!! also kinda like the acorn shield:D
