Queen's swing guard knives?

Hi,

I've never bought a "non-tactical" knife before, but the queen swing guard knife looks interesting. At 4.5 inches closed, it's a decent size. Can these knives stand up to tough use like todays tactical knives? Any comments welcome.

I really, really dislike swing guard knives.

Here you have often a beautiful knife and suddenly added to it are these little
bitty pins and sharp-cornered, oddly shaped pieces of metal...
