I just talked to the Texaco distributor in my area. Chevron bought Texaco.
Texaco A is no longer avaiable it is being replaced by B which is faster quench slightly different numbers, lower gravity etc. So the stockpile in Denver...

I've been useing Type B for years. I should be getting the Type A I just ordered either today or while I'm in Atlanta. Type B is ok but I think Type A is the real ticket. B for some steels is just to fast.
