Query: Peacekeeper I Storage

I just got a Cold Steel Peacekeeper I Carbon V, and I'm wondering about how best to store it. I presume that I should wipe off the current coating of greasy oil, and treat it with Tuf Cloth. What would be good to wrap it in?

Just put a coat of protectant on it, Tuff-Cloth or Rem oil and stick it back in the little cardboard doodad they shipped it in.
Usually those protective covers are Chemical free.
