Query re Spa Jobs

The normal spa treatment we refer to is the "sharpen and buff" service. Buck charges a meager $6.95 to buff the scratches and dings to the best of thier ability(without major face lift), buffs the blade and sharpens it to the factory angle. It even includes return shipping amount. If the knive needs additional work beyond, they would contact you for additional fee. They also due a blade change for $10 which is a buff of the body and a replacement 420hc blade(I am speaking only of 110's and 112's as I'm unsure of others) It is by far the best deal going and the warranty dept, who does it, is outstanding in thier diligence. Here are a couple examples.

wow ed, what a turnaround. I knew those guys were good but that rear bolster was really chewed up before-thats amazing.

When you send in a pre-'99 110 for a clean up and sharpening, do they sharpen to with the "Edge 2000" method or the older method that was used when the knife came from the factory?

I asked that here once and was told it would be the original factory edge. The oldies I have sent appear to not be E2X.
