Regarding RJ's maker mark, I noticed that they appear as "RJ Martin" on his website. I also noted an earlier (?) picture of one of his knives where the mark appeared as "RJM". Can someone confirm this here (I've also contacted him via email with questions about confirming his work but couldn't wait so I thought I'd put the ques. out here as well!). Does anyone own an earlier example with "RJM" as the mark? How long ago was it that he changed his mark, if anyone knows.

Thanks for any info,

Some of Martin's knives are scribed RJM. I have an older A2-bladed kozuka with this mark. Got a (bad) picture where the mark is just visible:

Not sure when he switched marks but its easy to see if its a real RJM blade though - just one test cut will do it :)

I think he uses the RJM on some smaller knives. It's actually engraved into the blade, while the other mark is electro etched.
