Quest for a cruiser, idea for a trade thread.

I have wanted a cruiser for quite some time, Dick Proenneke pretty much got the bug in my ear first, with his awesome endeavours.
I own many axes and hatchets, but still no cruiser, When I spotted Wood Trekkers review of the Barco Kelly woodslasher I was hooked.

I can't find a place online that will ship it to Canada, should I try to find someone in the US to be the middle man and send it to me, or just keep looking on ebay?
I have some handles that would be suitable for a cruiser, and it would be cheaper to ship just a head, but I can never seem to find one that jumps out at me, and I have used paypal in the past and find it a hassle, pretty much.

A third idea I had was maybe start a axe head trade thread, where you post pics of what you have for trade and people make offers on them for possible trades.
Is this kosher? Looking forward to your ideas.
 
I bought a two pack of the Barco cruisers. A friend of mine also bought one. The first time he used his he said the head came loose. It has a wood wedge in them. He fixed his by adding a metal wedge. I haven't used mine yet.

But I can tell you that one of the cruisers was nice w/ good grain alignment. The second one had terrible grain alignment and a crude finish to the head. It almost appeared that the one of the cruisers in their 2 pack was a reject or a second quality axe. The only reason I bought a two pack was, you hot a second cruiser for $20 without much of an increase in shipping charges.

The bits on both of them will need lots of work as they were very crudely ground. I guess for the money they are OK. I have a collection of 10+ vintage cruisers and it will be awhile before I ever use these new Barcos. Even though they say they are Kellys, they are only stamped "Wear Safety Glasses" and have a "Barco" printed on the other side.
