I was just wondering if anyone else had the same obsession with having the most prepared pockets ( gadgets, survival stuff, knives, guns and all other usefull things ).

At Most times I carry the following:

My new Ultratech 6 (black serrated blade)
SAK Tinker on my keys
Spydercard (in my wallet)
Windmill lighter
Photon III (also on my keys)
Sure Fire M2 (when I wear a jacket)
Leatherman Wave
About a 10 foot section of Paracord (very usefull)

When I go out into the woods or work around the farm ill also bring
my S&W Airweight 8 shot .22 (5 rounds of quickshock 3 snake loads) and some extra ammo.

I'm in:

Hatch Resister Gloves,
Gargoyles Glasses,
Casio Forester Watch w/ Suunto compass,
2 urban camo Bandanas,
Small First Aid Kit,
Wallet w/ phone card, cash, atm card, ferro rod & striker,
Day Timer Mini Planner w/ account & contact info,
Fisher Space Pen,
Key ring w/ Traser Glow Ring, Photon II, ASP Whistle and keys,
MagLight Solitaire (soon to be accompanied by Normark's sheath),
Leatherman Micra (soon to be accompanied by Normark's sheath),
Leatherman Supertool,
CRKT M16-12LE,
DefTech MK VII Pepper 10 aerosol,
Glock M23 w/ spare mag - 27 rnds 155 gr. .40 Win. Silvertips,
BIC Lighter & 1 pack Pall Mall Menthol Lights,
Motorola StarTac cellphone.

I better add a life preserver, otherwise, I think I may need to start avoiding large bodies of water. :)

Man, this is going to be a LONG post.

I wear BDU pants (OD) all the time, so I have plenty of space.

Left front pocket: CS 5 inch clip point Voyager, snuff can fishing and snare kit, GI matchsafe full of strike-anywhere's.

Left cargo pocket: Jolly Rancher hard candies in ziplock; 3 power bars; pellet tin of bullion cubes; pellet tin of char cloth; 3/16 ferro rod epoxied to sharpening stone; wdld disposable poncho; 3 tuibes of glucose tablets; compressed fuel bar.

Trouser belt, left side: Gerber multi-tool in pouch. Also in pouch: small SAK (scissors, blade and nail file used for striker for ferro rod, tweezer & toothpick); plastic tube containing 8 extra jigsaw blades; small diamond rod sharpener; 1/8 ferro rod in plastic handle.

Left rear pocket: wallet (mostly empty)

Right front pocket: Rucksack SAK on lanyard; Bic lighter.

Right cargo pocket: .5 quart pilot's flsak (canteen); ziplock baggie containing fast food napkins for TP, 2 large garbage bags; 50 feet nylon twine; 10 feet 550 cord.

Right rear pocket: mini survival kit in an Outers first aid box; sealed with duct tape to limit "pilferage" except in true emergency. Inside is: 2 trip wire snares; 2 feet of 550 cord; 50 matches (strike on box) in a baggie with striker panels; 3 small spools of thread; 4 needles; 15 feet of cotton twine for fisihng line; 3 feet of trip wire for leaders; 9 assorted hooks; 1 large "snag" hook; 1 treble hook; 1 spinner; 1 jig; half a plastic worm on a hook; 6 lead weights; 2 small taper candles; Lansky ceramic hone with ferro rod epoxied on; 15 pieces of char cloth; a 1 gallon ziplock for water storage. All of the hooks and needles and stuff are duct taped to the inside lid, so that they don't poke holes in other stuff. The whole box is sealed shut with more duct tape, for minor repairs.

I also wear a second belt, with two nylon pouches. One is a small first aid kkit, and the larger one holds more stuff, like a monocular, pen and paper, more hard candy, and other stuff that I won't list for brevity's sake.

Under my right arm is a REKAT Utility Knife with a small survival kit in a pouch lashed to the sheath. This is my "last ditch" kit, in case I lose everything else. Fishing kit, thread and needles, BSA Hot Spark, single jig saw blade, cordage, tinder. A small, yet complete kit.

Around the house I always wear my Mora 2000 as a neck knife, so I have a medium sized fixed blade that's handy for chores a folder won't do.

So, what do I win? I doubt that anyone out there is going to top this list. I once weighed all my stuff; it came to 12 pounds, not counting clothes and boots.
