I've been collecting peanuts since my Granddad gave me my first one when I was a young boy. I own a decent amount of factory peanuts from various manufacturers and have owned custom peanuts from makers like Chamblin and Shadley. Thing is though, although those peanuts were wonderful I just couldn't wrap my head around the style. I remember the Shadley being a bit too long and wide for my tastes and I can't quite remember prompted me to sell the Chamblin.

This is my 2nd two blade peanut from Alsdorf that I snagged the second it hit his available section of his website. I own a non-interframe two blade peanut in MOP and have a mokume and gold lip on order with more to come I'm sure. His peanut design is just perfect EDC in my opinion. An Alsdorf peanut is a must have for the peanut lovers out there:

That sure is nice. Congrats!

I have an Alsdorf peanut as well....he does a fantastic job.

Very nice piece. I carried one today from Don Morrow. Peanuts are beginning to grow on me

I've been admiring Mike's knives for a while, but his peanuts are just astonishing. They have perfect proportions and the fit and finish are always spot on.

Good catch.

Mike's work is as good as gets, especially on those peanuts.
Nice Score,

Jim

They all summed it up, great knife, I am envious. God has blessed Mr. Alsdorf with a great talent.

Yep, Mike's peanuts are fabulous:thumbup: I love mine and I have another one in the works...if I ever get around to sending the handle material;)

Exactly how I could sum-up my experience with his peanut pattern. He nailed it in every way.

By the way, the photos are from Mike, not from my camera.

WOW!. What great peanuts. I have comitted to carry nothing but a peanut this weel. Just because I want to see if I can resist the others and see if it will do everything I will need it to. But my peanuts do not look like yours. WOW!

This is the first one sold by Mike, in my estimation, he nailed it the very first time.

Here is the first interframe peanut by Mike, the Red Bone matches his first one previously posted. I just got word it is on the way to me. Mike's DSL has been down for a few days due to construction breaking the lines. It will join its brother after a couple of days of CE & CF.

Nice red bone peanuts you got there James. Here is mine. :)
It is very similar to the first one you posted but with threaded bolsters and no shield.

I've been looking for an excuse to buy an Alsdorf. Are his peanuts the traditional 2 7/8" closed length?

Mike
