This is a Wilde Bill Cody custom knife, and one of the pictures shows the initials WBC on the knife. I purchased one of these knives a few months ago, but the initials on my knife are JL. Can someone tell me why mine is differant?

Oh, by the way, mine is numbered 011/250.

Thanks,
Jim

Poor stamping of the initials? I've seen it happen on gun barrels. Purely speculation on my part....think we need Joe H. for anything definitive on this one. Saw one on clearance a couple months ago at Gander Mt. for $150. Nice knife, but to me the handle was just too small. (lengthwise) And my hands are average size. Thought about it anyway, because other than that, it was a nice knife. But I couldn't get by that small handle & passed. It just didn't feel right (good) in my hand. No regrets.
