I bought a few sog AO knives an was wording if I could take out the springs without tearing up the knife I want to take out the springs to make them manual opening knives

I don't know about SOG designs, but it's not that simple with Kershaw AOs. You need to make a mechanism to keep the blade closed (the spring usually does it).

I took the AO springs out but the knives had alot lot lot of blade play so I put the springs back in there nice knives but I just don't like AO
