I'd like to know what exists out there for Buck 212s. This is for the ones with Buck part numbers. I know there are some customs, especially from Joe Houser and Leroy Remer, but I don't want to include those as of yet. I am presenting a table below. Did I miss anything?

Black Phenolic0212BKSSH420HC
Red & Black Lucite (BCCI)0212RDSCCW2x
Red & Black Lucite0212RDSSH420HC
Red & Black Lucite0212BOW2
Burgundy Micarta0212BGSSKD2x
Elk0212EKSLEW2x
Cocobolo (brass)0212CCSSH420HC
Cocobolo (aluminum)0212B01D2

Your list looks pretty solid. Well done. At one time I was attempting to collect all of the 212's and had most all of those. I even had the dealer knife you listed, which were hard to come by. I ended up picking one up from a Canada retailer.

You are probably excluding these for now, but in 2021 Buck released a Limited Factory Run of the below 212 knives.

Cocobolo/D2/Red Micarta Spacer (0212BO1-B):

Do you happen to know how they were different from the Cocobolo one I listed? It looks like a big difference is that the pommel and guard are brass.

Missing 0212BO-B - red/black lucite (aluminum) w2, Great job compiling the list. I can cheat and look it up.

Yellowhorse did a "112 Fixed Ranger" for BCCI in 2018. Was it based on the 212?
The 2018 Special Projects List shows (2) 212's
Fixed Ranger for BCCI 212RDSCC-B #11877 qty 75
Fixed Ranger (Skeleton) for BCCI 212SKS-K #11876 qty 60
I believe the term "Skeleton" means it was supplied without handle (for Yellowhorse?)
The Yellowhorse knife has a more pronounced clip.
This is one I've always regretted not jumping on.

Preston, the clip on your knife looks much more 212ish than what I assume to be the pre-order prototype knife shown in the BCCI newsletter. Thanks for sharing, beautiful knife. Question, was the box & COA labeled as a 112 or 212?

Did these have a Buck part number or were they customs from Yellowhorse? I saw that "K" part number when I was compiling the list but I don't think anyone other than Yellowhorse was probably able to buy it. I'd like to know what the part number of the finished product was.

so it looks like all I have to do is fill out that form and mail it in. then the knife will appear in my collection, since it would have been delivered in 2018. $360 was a lot in 2018, even a lot now. Not sure if I would have bought it back then.

Roger, there was no 'box' just the wooden display case. As you can see it is on the COA as a 112.

HH I looked and could not find a part number.

Here are some other 212s for comparison. If you want a better photo I'll wait 'til I can get outside.

MIght be worth a try. Yep, I thought it a hefty price but I had the early 112 Lacy so I 'bit the bullet'.
I like David's work, he later came out with a 111 Lacy so I bought that one. I think he has done a few others but I said to myself, "self, enough of this..."

I think we'll have to settle on the model/cat# as supplied to Yellowhorse
