I just got several new old stock 707uh new in box. When I looked at them they all had main blade stamped 705uh. Was this common for them to use different blades. They did use same size blade in both knives. Does this hurt the value of them? By the way I saw the post about the 44OT I got about a dozen of them new in box from same place these came from along with several other models, Dan

The 44OT was only produced from 1990 to 1993 and is pretty rare.
Robert Clemente states a remake of 4000 of these 4 blade knives was produced in 2001 with "Special Edition" on the main clip blade.
May I ask if your dozen 44OT's have the etched clip blade Dan?
Does your 707 UH' Gambler' have small clip blade and pair of scissors or the 705UH 'Chairman' Large clip blade and pen nail file? 705UH ceased production in 1988 and the 707UH in 1994.
I believe we have noted this anomaly of the switched blades previously on here. Hoo Roo

My 440ts do not have the etched blades. They and the others, 360ts, 172uhs, 890ts,and others all came in the tan and black boxes. My 707s have the scissors and have blade stamped 705uh. Some of the others I got were 770ts, 12uhs, 152uhs,150ts, 285uhs,610ts,890ts all original USA stamped. Dan
