Can anybody hazard a guess as to approximate value of one of the original 560's in used condition without a sheath? I have a sheath but it's not the original. It's in very good condition with some minor scratches. Blade says 560+ which I believe is 1991.
Thanks for any help,
Dave

Hello Dave,
It's good to see you visiting the Buck Forum again.

There are a couple of 560s currently on eBay that close within two days or so. One is older with some use evident but with no year or year code provided and the other is NIB. If you can wait for awhile their closing bids can give you an indication.

IIRC NIB 560s have been going for around $70 to $90 over the past few months. However, that is just an impression. I have not been following that price specifically.

Hi Wray,
Thanks for the welcome and info. I always read the Buck forum even when I'm not posting. I know Joe and CJ like to keep the place looking good so I try not to post,LOL.
I've pretty much narrowed my Buck collecting to 112's and 532's and I picked this one up recently so just thought I'd ask.

Dave,
Feel free to post anytime, you could not hurt the site anymore than me! So your a member of the secret underground collectors of the 532? Nice choice!

Take care,

Sometimes it depends on the quantity run and the length of its production time. Neither of both which I am sure of. Another factor would be any variants. I had both the natural finish Ti handles model and one with a matte dull black finish. I am almost sure it was Ti as well. Sold one here at BFC for $45 new no box with original sheath. But it sat for a while. And I was dropping the price from $65. Which was just about at retail. If I recall correctly, the Ti slabs used for these models were either too expensive from whatever source at the time or that supplier went out of business. Not sure if I was too much help here. :(
