Hey guys I have a question that you maybe able to answer.I have a new Busse Sus Scrofa that I am getting in a trade and was wondering a few things about it. Do any of you know how many were made? What years that they were made? And what are they worth? And NO NO NO it is not for sale or trade. Thanks in advance.

no one but the company knows how many were made, and they don't release such stats.

I don't know what years they were made, but look on BusseCollector.com - it's probably on there.

as for the value, check the Exchange here - and see what they've sold for in recent months.

They were available for a long time.

$200 to $280 or so in the price range depending on model. (search the sale threads here to get a reasonable idea).

I have seen them go for way cheap, and normal price depending on finish, scale combo, LE version, and sheaths etc.

I think the cheapest from them was something like 230? Combat grade.

I had one with a black finish and pumpkin handles.

I loved it! Modded it, and used it all the time.

The design is a great slicer, cuts stuff great.

The down side of the design is in it's all around utility for some tasks like food prep. It works, but you can press the edge flat with the board, like with a lot of knives.

I think you will like it. Lots don't. Those that like them (like me) think they do a lot of things great!

Don't work so well for skinning game.

Thanks for the post guys.I apreciate the info.I only want the Busse for carry and I don't hunt anymore so skinning game is not an issue.I think I am going to love it.
