Question about a Kelly Axe

I’ve just a picture of a kelly registered axe with the words “pink panther” on the backside of the axe. It also has remnants of pink paint. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this axe before? If so when was it produced? Thanks

yeah, I saw that.

I think a previous owner of the axe stamped pink panther and painted it pink. I could be wrong, but I would assume that it was not manufactured that way.

Unless Pink Panther character could time travel back to 1930ies, break into Kelly factory, mark some axes and go to town with pink paint, it was not marked that way straight out factory. Most likely people bid on it, cause it Registered, nothing more, nothing less.
