I read somewhere about a Rob Simmonich Cetan Kit knife. Does anyone know about this, or how I can contact Mr. Simmonich?

Thanks,
Joe

As far as the kit goes, there are a few around. My first kit knife was a Cetan Tanto. I have since misplaced it and I'm freaking out! Anyway, as far as I know, Rob has something like a 12 months wait on knives and he hasn't done any kits for over a year now. They are nice, though! A lot of custom makers can be convinced to do them for you if they aren't too busy, however.

I e-mailed Mr. Simonich about half a year ago inquiring about knife kits and he replied: Sorry, no more kits!!

Which brings up another point.

Besides Jantz, who else makes a good knife kit?
