Question about a Mayo for those who know their Mayo's.

Hello all,
Is a med. Covert carbon fiber worth more or less than a med. Covert non-carbon fiber? I was told that I'd be paying more for the CF handle because they are more rare. Could someone with knowledge in this area shed some light on this subject?

I do think the CF Models are scarcer so would demand a premium.
 
The CF ones are definitely scarcer, but that does not necessarily mean they are more sought after.
The last few Coverts I've seen sell have been In the $2500-$3000 range.
The Mayo market has gotten really crazy in the last 12 months.
