Hi. I have a question about a thread in the "General Knife Discussion" section. The post deals with the M1911 folder. I saw that it had been moved, but when I click on it I get a page that tells be I do have the ability to access the page. I just curious about whether I crossed any lines with my posts since I sorta ressurected the post from 2010. Definately was not my intent to do so. Thanks.

Btw, I couldn't seem to send you a message Esav, or maybe I am doing it wrong. Wouldn't be the first time!!

First, the whole thread was spam for Ultimate Forge, who may make knives but is not a Knifemaker member.
Rather than go through 2 years of posts, editing out advertising, I moved it to a location only mods can go.

Second, no, you didn't have anything to do with the move.

Third, since I didn't get a message from you, how did you try to send it? Registered Users can't send Private Messages, but everyone can send Visitor Messages. And I have my forum email address in giant letters at the bottom of every one of my posts. :)

NOW I notice the contact email, sorry 'bout that. I clicked on your name and I went to a blog and couldn't seem to navigate though it to a visitor message. Like I said, wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure I sounded a bit like a rep in my praise of these knives, but I just tend to get excited when I run across something that just strikes a chord in me, as these knives have done. I'll check out the thread you posted.:)
