Probably many questions like this already but I have a Schrade LB7 that I purchased in the late 1970's and I was wondering what the Serial number on it means and maybe a rough idea of worth.
The Serial number on it states A37388 and on the blade it has Schrade + (sign) and USA LB7 below the Schrade.
The knife is in great shape as I purchased it for a around the USA motorcycle trip I took when I was 17 years old - thought I needed something for protection - lol.
Never really used it and the knife and sheaf went into a dresser drawer. Never even sharpened.
Starting to show a wee bit of green patina on the brass now, but no nicks.
Any comments is appreciated. The knife brings back a lot of motorcycle trip memories.
Tks, Ed

Welcome to the forums, some might say we are enablers. We just know what we like. Good to have you here. The + indicates that it is stainless, the serial number may refer to length and lock. Others will be along shortly I’m sure. Troy

I have a 60OT+ which is like that one but with different handle materials. First knife I have performed some kind of regrinding on, the steel worked with me well, it is a sheepfoot now.

Good old find. The old USA ones seem tough!

I have one from 80's and it's a fine user. Heavy though. Not allowed to ask value unless gold member or higher, but these aren't valuable knives.

Oh thanks for letting me know about not asking value. The knife brings a lot of memories from a 12,000 mile cycle trip alone and I would never sell it. I think it has a rosewood handle.
