I've never messed with one of these and don't know anything about them, I have a guy that is wanting to trade one that is barely used without a sheath for my bnib emereson micro commander and a bnib zt 350ts (which is worht about $315), I honestly have not seen any Spartan Horkos for sale when I look online and the only one I find on ebay went for $177. So could somebody please enlighten me to if its worth the trade or not?

I own a Spartan Horkos and can tell you that it is a good knife. It isn't meant for heavy duty use and is sort of a light tactical knife. The only thing that feels a little unusual about the knife is the handle which feels "thin" or small in the hand. For me this isn't a problem and I assume would only be a problem maybe for people with big hands. When I bought it the Horkos was being sold for $310 and even though I do like the knife I don't think that it is worth that much money. Hope this post helps.

According to the Spartan Blades website, a brand-new Spartan Horkos retails for $328, not sure if that includes sheath. Of course I don't know about availability (their web site says they have ten in stock). I suppose if they are hard to get that this could increase their used price.

You might want to contact Spartan Blades to ask about availability before doing the trade. Perhaps you would be better off selling your two folders and buying a new Horkos.

Thanks, from what I've been told on other forums and what I can find, it being new no sheath puts it at about 220
