Hey guys, I was wondering when you acid-etch the logo on a blade like a Becker before stripping, can it be sanded away after it's been stripped? Because I don't want all the HARD work to just be sanded away. And will a forced patina cover up the logos?

Not sure how many logos are actually acid etched anymore. I suspect that most manufacturers use laser engraving on uncoated blades as it is more environmentally sound due to no disposal problems for the acid and neutralizer chemicals used in acid etching as well as the stripper bath used for removal of the masking material. Long term that should reduce costs.
