Question about an aftermarket pocket clip for Les George VECP

Hey folks...I've seen some pics and videos (can't remember the links) to some aftermarket pocket clips for Les George's VECPs. Can anyone tell me the name of the company/companies that produces these? Thanks...benstone43 at hotmail.com

Well the VECP uses a pretty standard 3-hole pocket clip setup, so custom clips that fit Emerson knives and some Benchmade knives and some other production knives will fit. The only clips I've seen marketed directly for the VECP that are "aftermarket" are MokuTi clips made by Chad Nichols for Les George. Without any links or pics, it is hard to know what clips you're specifically asking about.

I heard Les is getting ready to make some Moku Ti lock bar stabilizers too. I was bugging him on another forum to make some Moku Ti back spacers as well.

Here is mine on my VECP, and I had one on my Ritter/Wilkins Grip. I have a tan G10 back spacer in my VECP made by Les.

Beautiful clip...I emailed Les today about buying a newer clip for my VECP. Mine VECP must be an early one since the clip is really short (very tight as well...too tight in fact). I can't find anyone that has the Mokuti in stock at this time.

I wish Les would make me a custom colored back spacer!

I'll shoot him an email, it's worth a try! I'm thinking a vibrant blue, similar to the spyderco m390 sprint.

I have the same problem as you. My VECP is my favorite knife and my EDC. The problem is I have to almost break my fingernail to pry the clip open so it can fit over my cargo shorts' pocket. I was debating on whether or not to buy the MokuTi clip but of course when I made up my mind they were sold out.

I just got my newer VECP clip from Les today (only $10 which included priority mail!). The newer clip is much better...I would still like to check out the Chad Nichols...some day.
