I recently bought an older NIB Sebenza and it appears that anodizing is faded looking on the very top of the stud while the rest is blue. It almost looks like it was purposely done that way because it was like that when I got it. Or is my anodizing worn off?

All Sebenza thumbstuds do that. The oil from your hand rubs the anodizing off. I think that you can get bronze thumbstuds as an option and those wouldn't lose their color.

You can get thumbstuds anodized bronze, but they will wear the same.
