question about balisongs.....

i was wondering does anyone have a online "how to" or pictures of a balisong disassembled? i want to make my own training blade (since sharp ones are illegal here) so i can learn the transitions etc legally as it looks like a fair amount of skill is needed in using one. but any images that could help me make one will be appreciated. i've seen a few online tutorials for a liner lock and slip joint folder but i havnt even handled a balisong to know how there made to work properly and smoothly. i know you can buy training blades but when your short on cash its better to make the item...:)

i have spoken with police etc on the matter to make sure its legal to have a training bali but not a sharp bladed one and they said only if it has a sharp blade can it be illegal...i tell you because i dont want people assuming i'm out to go behind the law, i just want to learn the things you can do with one legally ;).

You mentioned an encounter with the worlds most deadly snake over in Community. I believe this is the Fear or perhaps Fierce snake.
Regarding balisong construction, you'll find more information in the Balisong Forum. The training grounds is a good starting point. Good Luck.
 
ohhh right yeah :D, i'll be having a good read through once i finish making a training one....i love the way some of the people on here can use it (saw a video linked in there sig) and really wish they wernt banned here so i could have a real one (order a good balisong in). ahh well i'm sure i'll have fun messing with a training blade.
