Hi all, Now that the "buy only decent knives" has bitten me (causing me to buy 2 ZT's...it's a sickness), I've been lookng at the BK series (and to a lesser extent, the old USMC fighters as well). I havent found a place local that has one for me to fondle, so I've been relying on you guys to see and hear all the good stuff (thank you all, by the way)
Now the question: Are the plastic sheaths ambidextrous? It appears that one can take out the 4 screws, flip, and reinstall....is it as simple as that, or is there an asymmetric part that will booger it up?

You're good to go. You have it figured out, all you need to do is swap the thing around and you'll be ready for lefty carry :D.

somehwere, if i can find it, there's a BK2 sheath take apart i did. lefty, righty, various options. even large tek-loks

Why should the sheath be ambidextrous? Why not you? Just kidding. Yes sir it'll flip just fine. A teklok upgrade is a wise choice since your gonna have it apart anyways.

I can actually do pretty good with knives & firearms as a righty, more out of necessity than anything...Manufacturers are starting to get better with ambi choices, but wasn't always the case

That's good to know. We need someone looking out for our interests.

"left, right it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious."

My buddy willis refers to ambidextrous as bisexual. Just thought ya'll should know that.

:D
