Question About Benchmade Mini Bone Collector

I recently received a Benchmade Mini Bone Collector and I love the knife.. BUT the pocket clip screws seem to be too long for the knife. The screws pop out through the liner and touch the blade. They dont scratch it but they leave a small black line on the blade, I think its from the paint of the screws, but it wipes off. I just want to know if this is normal or if my knife is defective. So far it doesnt impair the function of the knife.. I just want to make sure it stays that way if this is a common trait for this knife. Thank you for any and all feedback!

The screws can be shortened. Take them out and use sand paper or a file to take just the extra length off. You may need to use a pair of pliers small visegrips or other tool to hold those screws. It's not a major problem, but it takes away from the newness of the knife. Bone collectors are nice knives, enjoy!

Thank you for the tips! I am enjoying this knife so far, and Im thinking of getting a full size version.
