Question about bladeforums logo

What is the knife in the bladeforums logo? Is there a reason its that knife?

it's just a generalized knife design

Just me, but I always thought it looked a lot like an EDI Genesis, but auto.

He didn't start bladeforums

It's just a generic auto knife design that was done up years ago. I added an oval behind it and the text. Nothing fancy.

No offense to Spark but personally, i like this alot better than the existing logo...next year's change maybe?

Logos that look good blown up don't always look so good when detail is lost shrunk down in a small picture in a corner of the page. Keep it simple!

For some reason, I don't see any logo. Maybe because I use the bad eyes huge font format. All I see is the V Bulletin logo on the upper left. My eyes are just fine but I like this view a lot better.

EDIT: Yep, that did it. I really like the large print better.
