Question about Boss Jack

Hey guys, my first time posting here. I have a questions since I dont know too much about Busse... Yet! I know a guy thats offering to sell me a brand new unused Busse Jack Boss with green blade finish for $150. Is it a good price? should I go for it? Thanks!
 
If it's 100% Busse, it's a great price.

It would be a great price for a used knife
 
Sure he said Boss Jack and not pepper jack?

I'd be a bit skeptical, seems too good to be true
 
I asked him to send a picture of it, I just got the picture and it doesn't really look like a boss jack although I could be wrong. I uploaded the photo, can anyone tell me if it is a boss jack? If not, which one is it?

That's not a Boss Jack,

That's a Skinny Ash or an ASH-1


How thick is it?

(Still a great buy by the way)
 
That would be a good buy at 300.00, don't hesitate. And as they've stated, it is an ASH-1.

I would be all over that at that price, even if it was used. However, at that price, I would ask for the knife first (fwiw, that is a ridiculous bargain; and as mentioned, that’s not a BOSS Jack, it’s an ASH-I). I hope I don't see you in the GB&U Forums... :foot:
 
He is trying to rip you off, don't fall for it. Give me his email and I'll go and yell at him for you :-). Just kidding, for that price you can't really go wring for any Busse almost any size or model.
