QUESTION about Buck Kalinga knife

I know little about Buck knives in general.

In 2007, I purchased a Buck Kalinga limted edition - numbered - only 610 made) knife because I thought it was at nice looking knife. I didn't purchase it to use, but more to admire / display on my office shelf.

The knife I have is number 488 out of 610 made (engraved on blade). The blade also says "BUCK custom USA". It has a stag cut-out in the blade. (Beautiful knife!)

I didn't think to keep the box, so I don't know the model #, etc. (bad decision)

I was wondering of one of you knife gurus could tell me more about this knife and the approximate value. I posted pictures of the knife on photobucket at this link:

(Please ingore the pool table pics. However, the pool table is for sale if you live in Greater Cincinnati area and are interested).

Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Buck forum Lemonte.!Nice looking knife.:thumbup:Thanks for sharing. That's way to cool for an office:cool:, more like a man cave.:)

If it's not s30v could it be a LE 406 maybe?Anyway it was designed by Al Buck.

I think value would take a big hit without the box and paperwork. There were a couple custom shop Kalinga's at the factory store including a Paul Bos commemorative with stand for $199.
