I bought a new 501 Squire a few months ago online. The blade would sag in the closed position. Blade closed, I could shake the knife and actually hear the blade rattle a little
So I filled out the Buck repair form and sent it back to Buck. USPS Tracking Conformation reveals the package was delivered to Buck January 12, 2015 1:56 PM
I have received no communication from Buck acknowledging receipt of the knife or status of repair
On the Buck Repair site it states (for this time of year) it could take up to 8 weeks for repairs to be completed and it's only been a month, but the lack of communication concerns me
I expected at least some kind of automated email from Buck Repair soon after receipt of the knife but this is the first time I've ever used Buck Repair, so don't know how it goes
Is this normal?
