I just traded into a Buck Vantage Select, Ive never had any of the Vantage line so I dont know much about them at all. Well the one I received is brand new but the edge looks like its chisel ground. Is this normal? To give you a better idea of the edge, it has two bevels but one is large and takes up almost the entire edge and the other is small and subtle. I know chisel ground blades (or at least most of them) have just one bevel.. so this one has me wondering.
This knife is supposed to be a gift for my nephew, so if its supposed to be like this then thats fine, but if its not supposed to be like this then I need to reprofile it before I send it to him.
