Question about Busse G-10

It depends on the texture they finish it with. I have some that are sanded down very smooth, but most directly from Busse or the Co store will have lots of "grooves" and texture...

Doesn't feel as grippy to me as Spyderco's G-10, but it is definitely not "plastic like" in any way. Very comfortable.

The magnum black G-10 on my BATAC CG feel like stone that doesn't feel cold or heavy. The surface is very smooth but the ample palm swell of the handle helps to control the knife when it gets wet. I haven't gotten blood on it yet but the canvas Micarta handles still retain a good grip when bloody. Fish guts don't help any handle type. The G-10 is certainly comfortable when dry or a little damp.

Not as "soft" a feel as micarta (don't know how else to explain it), but still feels really good in hand. Doesn't look or feel plasticky to me, but maybe the look depends on the color...those red G10 handles look kind of plasticky to me - maybe because they are shinier? I have never had a red one in hand, so I'm just basing that on the photos I've seen.

The nice thing about micarta and G10 is that you can always sand it or file it to your liking. Jerry's knives really have great grips. The CNC patterned grooves really make a big difference. In fact, some people find them too grippy, and sand them down.
