even I bought once from somebody at forum I still a little confused about procedure

let's say I post massage "i'll buy it".
what do I do next?

I went to seller profile
should I send email? visitor massage or both?

what's PM sent means?

there some other abbreviations I did not know but I don't remember it

could you find the paypal account of seller profile or you should every time ask for it?

the problem is that I am working long hours and I really busy at work and could not check forum every now and then.
If I post "Ill buy it" in am I can review response in late pm. there were situations when then buyer did not answer right away the seller was selling item to next person.
how can I avoid it?

could you describe the buy sell exchange procedure for somebody new in simple plain language and all these abbreviation the newbi may be confused with?

thanks

After you say "I'll take it' I would send them an email first. A visitor message as well couldn't hurt.

You have to be a paying member (Basic and up) to have the PM ability.

Some people don't want to post their PayPal account in threads or in their profile (blame scummy email fishers) so I would ask in the first email that you send them.

Also, you can subscribe to a thread to see if there are any new posts (like the seller agreeing to sell to you). At the top right there is a tab that says Thread Tools, click that and then click subscribe to thread. It gives you the option to either notify you via the forum or via email. I usually do email as it will go right to my phone.

I hope I answered your questions if you have more ask away. There are plenty of helpful people around these parts.

It is somewhat of a freeforall in the exchange as sellers can make the rules of each sale. Some sellers are very professional in the way they go about posting their sales stating clearly the rules and terms of the sale. Many use the "I'll take it" post from an interested buyer as the buying trigger and use timestamps to insure fairness, but that is not a forum rule. Unfortunately some sellers simply state a price without a mention of acceptable method of payment, whether shipping is included or even what constitutes a buying trigger. I recently had the first timestamp with an "I'll take it" on an item, had my sale confirmed by the seller, paid for the item and then almost a week later had my payment refunded by the seller with the explanation that someone else had beat me to it. Most of my experiences on the exhange have been smooth and pleasurable.

I recommend that you read the text of each sale in its entirety and don't assume anything about the rules or terms of sale. Do not agree to make payment by Paypal Gift option for the purchase of goods as it is a violation of Paypal's user agreement and leaves you without Paypal's Buyer Protection. Consider the Seller's feedback and search the Feedback forum for any negative experiences posted about them. Good hunting.
