Hi,
I'm thinking hard about buying a Camillus Talon with 154CM steel.
(Talonite is too expensive...)
I've searched and searched but couldn't find what the weight is of the knife, and also how thick the handles are?
I was hoping that someone here could help me out with these questions.

Thanks very much.
Ted

Found the weight on A.G. Russell: 3.9 oz
Other questions, are leather sheats available for this knife?

Ted

I just bought one and I really like this knife. However I do not think it comes with a leather sheath. The kydex sheath however is nice. I am planning to make a leather sheath for it, though. I received the leather and the leather working kit. I hope that leather work may be a hobby (if I have any talent with it at all?!?)

The thickness between scales is:
.527" (13.45mm) if I'm reading my verniers right.

Looks like it was made from a 1/8" blank but the blade is feathered as it is fully hallow ground. Hope this helps.

I could be wrong but I think the blade is fully flat ground, not hollow ground. :)

All TALON's, whether TALONITE or 154CM, are flat ground. We don't have any leather sheaths availible on a regular basis, but Kenny Rowe does make some for our custom shop, and he would be a great guy to make you one. Thanks for the interest!
