Will Case come out with more models in Yellow CV? Or, once a "family" is released, no new models are added?

There are some designs I'd like to see in Yellow CV, like the medium jack 22087 or mini copperhead 62109. If there is no chance this will happen, I'd pick up a 32087 pen knife.

Thanks.

I don't know about any new models but they did just add the sowbelly in yellow CV.

I like some of their models, but then they go and screw other ones up with weird blades (too thin, redundant profiles, no variety) Over all I though I guess I'm a Case man. Their fit and finish has really come up in the last couple of years. Competition is a good thing.

Case's fit and finish has definately gotten better. I started buying their knives again. I was tired of getting half ground blade, half dyed bone, etc. I love the Made in the USA thing, but we, as Americans, can't be apathetic about it. From my understanding, this info came from a master dealer here in GA, is that Case layed off a lot of employees leaving the majority of their work done by veteran knife makers. Hence, the increase of better fit and finish. From what I have noticed in the past is that I see the majority of change in a family of knives when something goes in and out of the vault.

Change for the better...? If so, I'm wondering if that was a parallel purpose to Case's decision to launch the vault-- to "clear" an existing pattern's available stock for a reboot? Hunh.

I guess it depends on what you like. The sowbelly goes into the vault and no long after the Humpback stockman is introduced. The Backpocket seems to be a good change for Case and its users. One thing is that Case seems to be focusing a lot of their attention on synthetics (american workman series, pink, camo and tan caliber series and now carbon fiber)
