I ran across a nice Case Shark Tooth in a local pawnshop, the overall condition of the knife was great . The question I have is that upon closing the knife there is blade movement (wiggle). But when opened it it is rock solid, is this normal? I haven't had that with other blades, and before I purchase I need opinions on the blade play. Anything would be appreciated.

A little bit of blade play when closed is very common with lockblade knives, at least to some degree. So long as the lockup when open is solid, and if there's not so much play as to let the tip protrude above the handle when closed, I wouldn't worry about it. A protruding tip in the closed position can be somewhat dangerous, or at least annoying. That's one of my pet peeves, as I managed to stab the tip of my thumb once, reaching into a back pocket to retrieve a small lockback that had a protruding tip, due to too much play.
