I have a cold steel tilite, and in the closed position, the liner lock has a slight gap between the zytel handle, i notice some of my other knives with liner locks have a gap between the liner and the handle, and i looked at another cold steel tiltie in the shop that i got it and it had the little gap aswell, is this normal, by gap in mean the liner isnt flush with the zytel handle scale in the closed position. There is no blade play when open and the liner lockup is not late, just wondering, thank you! http://imgur.com/Q41IzjP

That's normal. The spring tension is still slightly pushing it towards the blade.

This is what i mean by gap between liner lock and handle, is this normal? the other one in the shop had it, i just hope it isnt a sign of early wear on the liner, everythign else is perfect ( blade play, lock up et cetetera) thankyou http://imgur.com/Q41IzjP

I'm not familiar with the Ti Lite but that doesn't look like a problem to me. The liner most likely has a detent ball on it that engages a recess in the blade tang which helps keeps the blade closed. If your liner was tight against the Zytel handle when closed your detent probably wouldn't function as well.

Its great! i mostly have cold steel fixed blades for edc carry, scottish spike, point guard, tokyo spike, canadian belt knife, and a few old old cold steel folders like the first generation voyager and american lawman, so i wanted a new folder, and MAN, i happen to love the stiletto design, and this knife is awesome, needle sharp, solid lockup, hair popping out of the box, and that wave feature, i have a real italian stiletto and if i had to have a switchblade or the tilite in a defensive situation, id deffinitly pick the tilite, i know im really in love with a knife when i start fretting over the tinyiest details, but im glad everyone has reassured me its not an issue, im new to the forums, and id like to thank everyone for their imput!
