Question about DMT diapaste and the copy paper strop

I have fallen in love with the copy paper strop. It gets my knives super sharp but I have recently discovered that there are some steels beyond the black compounds abilities. So here is my question: If I upgrade to the DMT Diapaste will I still be able to make a copy paper strop? I am concerned that there is not enough paste in the tube to make more than one strop per tube. The dimensions would be either be 8"x2" or 8"x3". I, honestly, am not sure if it could make one strop per tube with those large dimensions.

I have enjoyed learning from you guys and you have made me a better sharpener.
 
I usually use around 0.25 gram of diamond paste per 8x3" smooth surface (paper/smooth leather/balsa). For rougher surface I double the amt to 0.5gr. DMT dia-paste tube is only 2grams, that is too little paste for my mula and my polishing usage - hahah. Gmail flex dog 2008 for info on 5gr (same concentration/density) at half of 2gr dia-paste price.

I think I will try the Dia Paste since a set of all three concentrations runs about $24. If I like it as much as I think I will, I will stock my knife cabinet with the 5 gram tubes.

Replied. There are also 10 & 15gr options and all options in either monocrystalize or polycrystalize diamond type, plus with size down to 0.1um. Min order size for CBN is too large for sharpeners.
