Question about dual membership levels showing!

I upgraded my membership level from gold to platinum a couple of months before the re-up date. I do understand as to why both levels show before the prior level is expired but why do both show after that annual renewal renewal date?

Is this an adjustment of status that needs to be asked for and then corrected manually by the Admin since I repeatedly notice dual membership levels displayed and then some seem to adjust to whatever their current paid level is at. TIA.

Your gold membership says "Permanent" under the expiration date, so it doesn't seem to ever expire and that's why you're seeing the dual memberships right now. Not sure how you got the permanent membership, though.

There was a hiccup where a bunch of "permanent " gold memberships got handed out during the software change...either Spark missed yours in the cleanup or he really does like you

Yup that’s an error as I never paid for any permanent membership. Chip thank you for bringing this to Admin’s attention as I don’t wish to be freeloading based on that technical glitch!

PS. If I am indeed really really liked, i won’t say no to being anointed as a perma pirate, arrrggghhh! Ha!

We (perhaps only paid members?) can look up another's paid membership details through the link below. It shows what memberships were purchased, when, and when they expire(d).

Probably an addition in the software to coincide with the gift a membership feature.

If a member mouses over the drop down arrow next to "paid subscriptions", the menu popup has a selection called "purchase details". Clicking that leads to a sub-screen that allows one to input a member name and see his paid membership history. (the Xenforo membership history. Can't see the membership history from the old software.)
