Question about E-bay Find

Good Day All!

Please take a look at this auction. It's closed and I'm the purchaser, anyone know much about the brand?

I bought it because it appears to be a mini sheffield bowie, and of course Solingen is a famous cutlery name, but the Edge brand has eluded my searches so far.

Someone has over-treated the sheath with something, very limp. The blade should clean up with a bit of TLC, I'll get some better pics tonight when I get home.

Edgebrand was one of the marketing brands used by G.C.C (general cutlery co. - now operating under the name of Junglee) for it's post war Solingen imports. This was a moderately priced hunting knife from the 1970s-early 1980s.

I carried an Edge Brand lockback copy of the Buck 110 for many years in my early working life. Blade was 440C. Good quality knife. I also have an Edge Brand copy of the Gerber MK1. Again, good materials & workmanship. Both of mine were from Japan though. Looks like a good working knife. Nice snag for $19!
