Question About Eezox Gun Oil

I just bought some Eezox to use on my knives to keep them from rusting and I noticed when I got some of the oil on my handle and I wiped it off the rag I was using had some blue on it(my knife handle is blue bone). So I guess my question is will eezox damage or fade handles?
